Colorado Wildwood Song Bird Homes & Peanut Butter Delights

No trees are cut down to create these exquisite homes for our fine-feathered friends.

Robert sculpts each bird home from wild woods that have been beetle killed, fire burned, or even drought stricken. Some trees and fence posts date back aproximatly 100 to 150 years.

These bird homes are not only hand carved into fine habitats for the small songbirds but also double as a beautiful garden sculpture for you.

SONGBIRD HOMES

Each sculptural songbird home is unique. Each includes ventilation and drainage holes, back doors and offset perches. The holes are 1 inch and 1-¼ inches. Juniper is used in most of our homes because bugs don’t like juniper and birds do. Juniper is also highly weather resistant.

Some of the small songbirds that can live safely in our Songbird Homes are chickadees, nuthatches, titmice, finches, wrens, sparrows, and the downy woodpecker.

Our homes range in price from $110.00 to $900.00 depending on size and complexity, i.e. whether the piece is an individual home or songbird condo housing two or three families. Sizes range from approximately 9 inches high by 6 inches wide up to approximately 20 inches high by 14 inches wide.

PEANUT BUTTER DELIGHTS

Our Peanut Butter Delights use a simple mixture of peanut butter and birdseed to provide songbirds with excellent nutrition, giving them energy, water proofing and extra body heat especially during fall, winter and spring. Each Peanut Butter Delight is also a highly finished sculptural vignette for your garden, patio or any private and special space.

Peanut Butter Delights attract: finches, wrens, chickadees, sparrows, juncos, nuthatches, pine siskens, grosbeaks, goldfinches, warblers and even the downy woodpecker... just to name a few.

Our Peanutbutter Delights range in price from $45.00 to $400.00 depending on size, complexity and the number of feeding stations and perches. Sizes range from approximately 6 inches high by 7 inches wide to 30 inches high by 23 inches wide.
