Only in part is this an "Indian" painting. The "Old One" or "Man of Wisdom" that I have portrayed is much like all of us. Through his world flows violence and upheaval, the tumultuous shifting of forces; man, nature and the spirit world. As a result of this and in spite of it, he has found his peace, and inner tranquility; something we are all in search of. If you look closely you may see a certain number if images, people, animals, weaving their way through your vision; his vision, dreams; your imagination. I give you one interpretation. You may find others. This is often the challenge of Art; to look beneath the surface, to explore, visualize. Open yourself to a myriad of conceptual possibilities.

My enhanced lithographs are selected from the above edition. Each is mounted, painted, varnished, glazed and hand textured by the artist to look, feel smell and taste like the original. It is then framed with a 3” single piece hand wrapped linen liner surrounded by either a distressed 2” moulding from Santa Fe or a 3” Italian moulding. Each is signed and numbered as enhanced on the back.
